Meier Custom Built Homes has performed extensive training and research into energy efficiency and current building trends to help you to have a home that performs to the highest standard.
Structure
The integrity of the home begins with the bones. There are many options for the materials used in constructing your home. Meier Custom Built Homes has experience in building with conventional stick-framed lumber, steel, insulated concrete forms (ICFs), structurally insulated panels (SIPs), and combinations of these building materials. Each option has its benefits, and we will help to guide you through what will work the best for you and your new home.
Energy Efficiency
An efficient home not only saves you money on monthly utility bills, but also provides a home that is more comfortable and durable. The design and selections can help to conserve energy and water use. The way a home is insulated, heating and cooling systems, appliances, water fixtures, water heating, etc all make an impact on how efficiently a home performs. Integrating a renewable energy system, such as solar panels, and rainwater collection systems also can help offset costs as electric bills climb.
Finishes
When working with you and/or a designer, Meier Custom Built Homes will help to select the trim, finishes, and details that create a home you will be proud of. Finishes from paint selections, cabinets, flooring, etc. will create the aesthetic that you are looking for but also need to be durable enough to withstand day-to-day use.
